Ross, the grader, sat carefully cleaning his glasses. An ant crawled across his table.
He watched it, fascinated. "Interesting," he murmured. "A Formicidae specimen."

Suddenly, a large shadow fell over his desk. It was Monica.
"Ross!" she exclaimed. "I need your help choosing healthy snacks for the gym. And put those papers away!"

Ross sighed. "But I haven't even finished grading these-"
"Now, Ross!" Monica insisted, pulling him up from his chair. He looked back longingly at his desk, at the tiny ant still making its way across the cluttered surface. So much for careful cleaning.

Later, at the supermarket, Monica pointed to a display of protein bars. "What do you think of these?" she asked.
"Well," Ross began, "considering the nutritional content and the-"
"Ross!" Monica interrupted. "Just tell me if they’re good or not!"

Just then, Tony rushed past them, almost knocking over a display of chips. "Sorry!" he called out, grabbing a bag of cheesy puffs. "Gotta go! Bob is waiting!"

Monica stared after him, shaking her head. "Bob?"
Ross, still examining the protein bar, said, "I believe Tony refers to his oven as 'Bob'."
Monica threw her hands up. "Sometimes I don’t understand you people."

Suddenly, Rachel burst through the supermarket doors, pushing a shopping cart loaded with brightly colored flowers. "Look what I found!" she shouted, holding up a sunflower almost as big as her head. "It reminded me of a bull!"

Ross adjusted his glasses and peered at the sunflower. "Actually, Rachel, that's a Helianthus annuus, commonly known as the common sunflower…"
Monica groaned. "Here we go again."
