In questa lezione, ci concentreremo su cinque parole fondamentali: 'being', 'damn', 'experiment', 'fellow' e 'German'. Vocabulary 5 - B2

Ross and Chandler sat at "The Lazy Harp", nursing their teas.[tooltip]Ross e Chandler erano seduti al "The Lazy Harp", sorseggiando i loro tè.[/tooltip]
Ross, being the inquisitive fellow he was, leaned forward.[tooltip]Ross, essendo il tipo che è, compagno curioso, si sporse in avanti.[/tooltip]
"I've been conducting an experiment," he began, adjusting his glasses. "A linguistic one."[tooltip]"Ho condotto un esperimento," cominciò, aggiustandosi gli occhiali. "Uno linguistico."[/tooltip]
Chandler, mid-sip, raised an eyebrow.[tooltip]Chandler, a metà sorso, alzò un sopracciglio.[/tooltip]

Ross shrugged. "It seemed… efficient."[tooltip]RossScrollò le spalle. "Sembrava... efficiente."[/tooltip]
He paused, then added, "Also, the word 'Schadenfreude' is just so… satisfying."[tooltip]Fece una pausa, poi aggiunse, "Inoltre, la parola 'Schadenfreude' è così... soddisfacente."[/tooltip]
Chandler shook his head, a smile playing on his lips.[tooltip]Chandler scosse la testa, con un sorriso sulle labbra.[/tooltip]
"You and your words, Ross."[tooltip]"Tu e le tue parole, Ross."[/tooltip]
Just then, Rachel bustled in, her hair a vibrant shade of pink.[tooltip]In quel momento, Rachel entrò di fretta, con i capelli di un vivace rosa.[/tooltip]
"Guys! Guess what?"[tooltip]"Ragazzi! Indovinate?"[/tooltip]

Rachel, oblivious to Chandler's plight, continued her animated story.[tooltip]Rachel, ignara della situazione di Chandler, continuò la sua storia animata.[/tooltip]

The Lazy Harp felt cozier than ever, thought Chandler.[tooltip]Il Lazy Harp sembrava più accogliente che mai, pensò Chandler.[/tooltip]
Or maybe, he thought, a little too cozy.[tooltip]O forse, pensò, un po' troppo accogliente.[/tooltip]
He looked back at Ross and Rachel. It’s damn good, being with his mates![tooltip]Guardò Ross e Rachel. È dannatamente bello stare con i suoi amici![/tooltip]
